Head Room Parents

Last call to sign up as your child's head room parent.  Please email Karie Cronan  ASAP if you are interested.   A letter will be held in the event more than one parent signs up.  Room Parent Training will be held Tuesday, September 16th at 6:30 pm in the FG library.   If more than one parent signs up, there will be a lottery.

Please go to our website and join or renew your membership to the PTA.  The PTA funds so many of the amazing events and clubs at Forest Glen, and we cannot do that without your support!  Click here to join! Please note that all committee chairs and head room parents must be members of the PTA for liability reasons.

There are still many vacancies for PTA Committee Chair positions.  Make sure to go online to sign up to volunteer!  CLICK HERE to sign up!

If we do not get a volunteer for an event/program, we will need to cancel it.

Volunteer Training

If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom, you must attend a volunteer training session with the main Forest Glen office.  If you have had previous training, you will just need to sign a current confidentiality agreement and do’s and don’ts acknowledgment.  Please contact the main office office with questions.

If you are planning to be in the classroom for a party or assembly this year please stop in the office to sign a confidentiality agreement AND ALSO to scan your driver's license or ID in Forest Glen's new security system.  This process can take a few moments the first time your ID is scanned and is faster and easier subsequent visits.

PTA District Council Seeks Reflections Committee Chair

Do you want to get involved with the PTA at the district level? If so, please consider being the Reflections Committee Chair for the PTA Council.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work with the Reflections Chairs in every D41 school to ensure that Reflections entries are submitted on time, and also gives you the chance to work with the GEPL in showcasing the kids' artwork.

If you would like to donate your time and talents to this wonderful cause, please contact Margaret Immink  or Liz Vogel

SSPAC (Student Services Parent Advisory Council)
